And so the fun continues….
The children were lucky to have a lie in this morning until 7:30. This was warmly welcomed by MOST of the children!
The morning began with beautiful sunshine. The children embarked on their first activity of the morning- a team challenge. An obstacle course that required the children to cooperate and work in teams. Lots of competition and fun was had.
Our next activity was called Jacob’s ladder. The children had to work together to pull themselves up the ladder, this looked easier than it was. The children really challenged themselves and agreed it was a difficult activity to start the morning off with. Take a look at our photos. A huge well done to all the children for pushing themselves in this activity as it is very difficult.
After a delicious lunch, the children embraced the outdoor climb with determination, strength and some fear! Such a long way to climb! However the children were not put off and concord any fears they may have had.
The most popular activity off the day was the zip wire. The children had such fun whizzing down the line with their friends. For most of them it was the first time they had tried this activity- and I'm sure it won't be the last.
The evening ended with the Kingswood disco. Girls were dressed in their finest, whilst the boys too were dressed very dapper, enhanced by the aroma of their eau de toilette.
Exhausted from the dancing, the children made their way into the dining area for their cocoa.
Once again the children's behaviour was impeccable.
'Most' of the children were asleep after a very busy day by 11:00. Hooray!!!!!
PS not sure how much they are missing home………
