RSHE Consultation
In 2020, Relationships Education and Health Education became statutory for all primary schools in England. Then in July 2025 the Department for Education published new Guidance for teaching RSHE, implemented from September 2026.
We have reviewed our RSHE policy, in light of the updates to the statutory guidance. As part of this process, we wish to consult with parents/carers and invite you to complete a survey to give your views on our RSHE policy and curriculum.
The consultation begins on 16th September, 2026 and will close on 7th October, 2026. Your views are important to us; therefore, we invite you to complete the survey to share your views. We also enclose login details to ‘Life to the Full Plus’, which contains an overview of what is taught and when it is taught to allow you to explore the resources and to support you to feel confident to talk to your children about these topics. As a Catholic school, we wish to engage with parents and carers as the primary educators of your children.
